The Wife Of Former President File Suit In Lagos Court To Stop Child's Wedding
Mrs Taiwo Obasanjo, spouse of previous President of Nigeria ; President Olusegun Obasanjo, on Monday documented a suit at an Ikeja High Court, trying to stop the wedding of her child, Olujonwo Obasanjo, booked for May 11.
Ex-President Obasanjo and the father of the lady of the hour, Sir Kessington Adebutu, promoter of Chief Lotto known as "Baba Ijebu" are respondents to the suit.
Mrs Obasanjo, who is the twin sister of Boss Kenny Martins, the previous Organizer of the Police Hardware Reserve, is looking for a delay of the wedding of her child, Olujonwo to Tope Adebutu planned for May 11 and May 12.
She needs the wedding to be settled for a date after June 1.
NAN reports that Olujonwo and Tope had an intricate presentation on Dec. 17, 2016 with the online networking inundated with photos of the occasion.
Obasanjo, among others, is looking for a court announcement that as the mother of the prepare, she had the rights to partake in the thoughts, choices and exercises prompting the approaching service.
As per her, wedding solicitations have been conveyed and she has been rejected from the arrangements for the services.
She said she additionally got predictions and notices from godly men such that Olujonwo, her child who turns 34 on June 1, ought not do or be included in any intricate festival before his birthday.
The lady needs the court to constrain Adebutu and Obasanjo to move the wedding to a date after June 1 after she had engaged Adebutu and Mrs Rosemary Dacosta, the mother of the lady of the hour, Tope Adebutu, the lady to-be and Boss Kenny Martins.
The News Organization of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Equity Lateefa Okunnu has settled April 10 for becoming aware of the suit no. ID/262FPM/2017.
