Mixed Responses Over Buhari's Expected Presence at FEC

While some say he would go to, others expressed that the administration will, not surprisingly, offer pardoned to Nigerians if Buhari neglects to appear.

The president has neglected to go to FEC gatherings for three back to back weeks, fuelling theory about his wellbeing.

In any case, he continued at his work area on Tuesday and took briefs from Abubakar Malami, Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF), and Maikanti Baru, GMD of the Nigeria National Oil Company (NNPC).

FEC, which is comprised of the president, VP and all Federal Ministers, is the most elevated basic leadership organ of the administration.

In the mean time, one web-based social networking user‏ @PaulUtho is inclining for tweeting that "If@MBuhari goes to the FEC meeting tomorrow in the Board Chamber at the State House, l'll give out 25k to 5people who RT this."

Different responses on Buhari beneath:

@Tomyboiz Buhari will be “arranged” to attend the FEC meeting and address council members for some minutes…after which he will leave and the VP will continue presiding over the meeting. This is to douse tension in the polity

@iykimo Eko Bank closed 79 branches, Sterling Bank sacked 290, MTN sacked 280, Buhari didn’t attend FEC meeting&Jumaat service

@Buchyogba As Buhari resumes work,I hope he presides over FEC meeting today ,failure which will create more suspicion. I wish him full recovery @flo949fm

@iykimo Even Buhari called on FEC to declare Yardua incapacitated#WhereIsBuhari The#MissingPresident. The missing Messiah
